Sculpture parks are an art in their own right, with carefully landscaped nature amplifying the beauty of works of art that are often monumental in scale. This new tour, led by modern and contemporary art specialist Fiona McIntosh, brings together the finest sculpture parks in southern England and Cornwall, from the established studios and gardens of Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth to emerging sculpture parks including the extraordinary Hauser & Wirth in Somerset and Houghton Hall in Norfolk.

Our explorations of sculpture parks are complemented by visits to a number of England’s other great achievements in nature, with gardens at Stourhead, Sissinghurst and Sandringham exemplifying how sculpture parks have emerged from a tradition that delighted their visitors with surprise and novelty as much as natural beauty.

Bases in Cambridge, Salisbury and outside of Padstow allow us to explore sculpture gardens and parks at a leisurely pace, together with other cultural monuments, and select dining showcases the best of contemporary British fare.
